Insane Weapons Used in Ukraine

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has done its fair share to improve the state of modern war machines. While the advancements in this war might be considered slightly more pedestrian compared to the leaps taken during the 20th century, their benefits shouldn’t be understated. One thing that is Special about Ukraine is that they have shown that they can easily Adapt if they have the Resources. Plus not to mention there has been talk for Decades about the threat of Drones and how they can be used in battle. Ukraine has basically turned into a lesson in how dangerous and effective Drones are.

Interesting but I could do a summary on these weapons as well. A couple of things not mentioned. The storm shadow cruise missile has had the unfortunate misfortune of recently being shot down in large numbers by the S400 system. It has become less effective. The atacms are basically outmatched by the Russian Iskander missles that are more modern faster and longer range. Also the atacms are generally more likely to be shot down by s400 becouse they have a ballistic trajectory. No mention of the Zircon or Kinzal missles that have no analogue in the west, and currently are extremely difficult to shoot down if not impossible to shoot down by the Patriot missle system. Russia has many close matches to the weapons systems mentioned in this video. Although probably not quite as advanced in some cases, Quantity makes up for this and the fact that the air defense system in Ukraine has been largely degraded. BIG Advantage for Russia in missles and cruise missiles in this war. Great overview though.

The biggest thing about storm shadow is the ability to strike within Russia, the UK government has green lit striking inside Russia itself and stuck a finger up at the escalation nonsense.
