I'm tired of this world. I don't look down on Dalton, I'm not better than him. I love him and the FAI family, but understand that sin has consequences. Lord, please heal all involved. Please make everything right. We are ALL in need of your grace and mercy.

I absolutely love FAI ... this is such sad news. I'm praying for everyone involved.

The closer to God you are, the bigger the temptations and the more the enemy attacks. 🙏

He was already caught and removed in another affair ten years ago, then reinstated.
This is the second time and Joel Richardson makes it clear he will not have a second chance.

Satan attacks our leaders who are most effective in the great commission. We ALL sin and fall short of the glory of God. I've seen this type of sin destroy many churches and it's devastating.

It is also interesting that the woman claims he was the instigator and pulls the slander card after he claims the same about her. I have been in these situations before salvation, and it is always the person in charge or successful that has women falling all over them. They are idolized and women get off on having their attention. A man is going to be a man, but if a woman in a church is shady enough to sleep with someone's husband, she is aggressive enough to flirt and then deny it when she is caught. He obviously did not force her because she was doing it for a long time. It is not just to only punish the man and keep the woman protected from the same punishment. They should be called out as well.

There's 2 issues to deal with here. There was a earlier affair, a decade ago, that should have disqualified him from ministry leadership period. To put him back into a leadership role was a big mistake. There was a statement made by the woman in this latest affair that would lead us to believe there was a coercive element to this.

I think the most important question that needs answering should be directed to the so-called counselors who “restored” Dalton the first time he was caught in adultery. Why was he restored to ministry?!!!lWhy should anyone in leadership who falls into moral sin be restored to ministry?! That shouldn’t even be a thought in their heads. Their only focus should be to reconcile this brother to God. Let him spend time in humbly working through his repentance, rebuilding trust with his family and brothers in fellowship. If he’s looking to get back in leadership, that’s a sign he’s not repentant. The church is at fault for exalting men’s giftings above their character. When you look at the biblical qualifications for leadership, they are all character qualifications. There is nothing about gifting or charisma or personality or popularity. How many more leaders must fall and how much more reproach against our precious Savior’s name must the church cause before we learn this lesson?

The response to the different exposures of gross sin in the church is very telling of the state of the church.
Abba is cleaning us up! These things SHOULD give us pause to examine ourselves. I have and I have more to work on than I thought.
Abba, help us judge ourselves before you have to I pray in Jesus name.
I gotta say? I didn’t know any of these people who have been in the spotlight for moral failures of late, outside of TD Jakes. I’m thankful I’ve been protected. I chose to go to evangelical churches and never expected a perfect church. I have been VERY blessed and I’m thankful.

This doesn't mean hes a bad person. He is a sinner and secum to temptation. Everyone of us here watching this are guilty of this sin, atleast in fantasizing about it. Pray for him. Lets not speculate on his pride and other faults. If that even is a fault of his. Pray for your brothers and sisters so they dont all fall into temptation.

Adultery is not only ignored in American churches, but is actually endorsed per my own experiences

Followed FAI for years. Joel and Daltons teachings on eschatology are good. I’m saddened by hearing this. I hope he and his family come to godly sorrow over this and be restored to seeking God with every fiber of their being.

We can all fall, if anything it shows people in ministry are not perfect. He messed up, so he should not be in ministry, but he should be given grace and our prayers.

You know, When I first started watching FAI material I had a problem with the nudity in some of the films. I didn’t think it portrayed issues in the spirit, but in the flesh. “Artistic License” I saw the raw sexuality on Dalton. It’s too bad because I understand it all too well, though I wasn’t married my behavior was no better. Trying to do the Lords work, walking in sin is possible but He won’t tolerate it forever. The doctrines of Baalim (reward, mammon) and the doctrines of Jezebel (idolatry and fornication) will not stand in the ministry or the kingdom. The whole last days church is steeped in error and witchcraft. Elders are for protection and oversight. The Lord is calling us to holiness and to get our houses in order. We need to be conformed to the image of Christ, not just in suffering for the gospel but in character. If we don’t do it, He will. If we still go on we only have the fiery wrath waiting for us. It’s better Dalton gets corrected now than burn later. High price to pay for everyone involved. Ministry, family, friendships all destroyed by lust of the flesh.

Very disheartened but the Lord be honored and reverenced through the process of holy correction in the spirit of love. We need your tender lovingkindness, Lord Jesus.
