I was always curious as to how people like Piper would respond to R.c Sproul Jr's problems. It's so easy for people to point the finger and say "this man is not of God" but what I've learned from reading and studying Christ the man is to always remain humble and look at thy own life before even attempting to examine someone elses failures.

I love how in John 8 when the pharisees brought the woman caught in adultery to Christ, they asked him "Moses says to stone her, What do you say?" in an attempt to catch him up, Jesus looks down at the ground and begins to draw in the sand and then responds with "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!"....When I first read that I stopped reading and had to prayed, astonished at the wisdom of Christ, I mean, WHO would have responded that way...I think we should view the sins of our brothers and sisters the same way.

It's easy to allow pride to creep in and finger pointing to begin when a brothers sin is made public but always remember to remain humble, meek and wise in how you handle it for we are all sinners but Grace and mercy abounds.

When your pastor fails morally, get another pastor. Get rid of the wicked pastor and look for a pastor that actually is moral and godly.

Satan has no problem with unregenerate, "crazy" and depraved people pretend "worshiping" God.
What he's *truly* afraid of, and will fight tooth and nail against (see 2 Timothy 3:12, Matthew 10:22 etc) is JESUS being present on this earth working through CONVERTED (TRANSFORMED!) hearts (2 Corinthians 13:5).

Transformation FROM and TO (see below) is an integral part of the Gospel (Good News) and only those who haven't been transformed and who are hiding sin will refuse to preach it.
Beware of them.

Pastors get dismissed because they struggle with sin. Who doesn't?

Peter lied - Christ forgave and restored him.

David committed adultery - He was a man after (key word) God's own heart.
