In case an undervolt goes wrong and you can't login into windows because of an agressive setting loading up while booting, you can hold CTRL while booting all the way into the desk, that'll make Afterburner boot with the default values wihout safe mode or other annoying methods.

@techyescity Massive respect for making this video and RESPECT for not having your phone in your hand while doing the benchmarks for us 15:57
Also remember now after the launch of the RTX 5000 series, more and more Gamers have the RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 in their system
I would like to see a dedicated RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 in this video format please

I have two stable profiles saved for my 5080FE. 1. The main one I use, which is a UV that drops my power draw by up to 100W depending on the game, with only about a 5% performance loss. 2. A +350 core +2000 memory OC, which nets me about 10% more performance over stock and not too much power draw. I only use this profile if the UV one isn't cutting it, which is rare. I actually got my card for MSRP too, so I'm cruising.

Thank you! My 5070ti can undervolt at .850mv and get 180w max in Unigine Superposition benchmark while maintaining stock speeds and FPS, and also have the option to overclock and gain an additional 10% to 15% fps with +450 core +1000mhz mem. When overclocked at those settings, I get 280 watts so it gives me a choice so it's a huge power decrease with an undervolt! This guide was extremely helpful and I've been waiting for a proper undervolting guide for a while! Subbed

I recently undervolted my Ryzen 5 5600 using your tutorial and i got it down to 1.02v or so at full load, 4ghz. Fans barely spinning and i haven't seen 60c yet during stress testing. Great videos!

Quick summary of my experiences with 30 and 40 series. I can get perfectly stable underVolts with rasterised titles, but the moment I switch to games that use RT, DLSS and FG (40 series and above), it is unstable. It seems (at least in my experience) that utilising RT and Tensor cores requires more Voltage for stability.

you made me undervolt my cpu back in the days, today i undervolted my 4080 super because of this video (slightly diff mhz ofc but still i got this stable 49c at max load, thank you my friend for saving us money on electricity xD best channel ever

Thanks, I tried your 800mv setting on my 5070ti. Works great.

I tried overclock as well, stable 3200mhz with 1025mv. Performs a bit better compared to a stock 5080.

Great video, I'm sure the 500 people around the planet who own these cards are thankfull for your video.

Wow, who knew undervolting could be this thrilling? The 5070 Ti is showing us it’s not just a pretty face, it can save energy and still pump out decent FPS! 6 FPS more at 20 watts less? That's some math I can get behind. Also, love how the 800mV profile has the GPU sipping power
I gotta say, this video had me laughing, especially when you mentioned MSI Afterburner giving you more power than a cup of coffee on a Monday morning. 😂

Will you make a video about bios flash on RX 9070 to 9070XT + undervolting it?

hi brian i would advise with such high undervolting to test ray tracing games as im sure it would most likely crash. due to instability. i have a rtx 4080 and if i undervolt normal games remain stable but yet heavy ray tracing games will crash

Do the 5080 next!!! Nice content thanks for showing the methodology!

Can you do the RTX5080?
Mine easily can do 3.2GHz but it's so time consuming (AMD's undervolt is so much better) to get the optimal curve that yields the highest clocks while being capped to that max TDP of 400Watt.

Would love to see 5080 just to see what values can i start with. Getting a Tuf 5080 tomorrow. And given that i have a 3080 with undervolting i wanna do same with 5080. Ty!

Nice video, I settled on a 875Mv and 2900GHz profile with 2000Mhz clock. I tried 850Mv but it wasn’t stable. Less watts and marginal bump in performance so win win

would love a 5080 next since i have done one myself and would like to know how hard you pushed it

31% lower power draw for just 6.6% performance decrease. Or if we look it the other way, you are increasing the power draw by *45%* to gain just 7% performance. That's phenomenal power savings! This only shows that these GPUs come _massively_ factory overclocked when you can get such enormous savings with little to no hit in performance. They are basically running these gaming GPUs at the limits of the silicon and there's really no need for that considering the amount of heat they will produce and power that they'll draw. Anything over 200-250W is overkill, IMHO. It only makes your gaming setup feel like sauna for no reason at all. Especially in summer, or if you live in a hot climate.

I've been using 950mV profile before watching this video. After watching 850mV profile looks interesting

2:40 - Be careful.. If you use the auto-set with Windows, it will try to apply the last setting you applied, not profile #1. If the settings you apply crash Windows (which will happen sometimes when hitting 'apply'), Afterburner will try to apply that setting when you restart. It's best to leave that option not selected until you know it works. Speaking from experience. 5090FE.

Saying that it will apply profile #1 each time is incorrect. It will automatically apply any setting you last used (that is, the one that was set when you last hit 'apply' or 'reset').
