MAKE CHAPMAN THE DAMN CLOSER NOW!!! Bednar avoided another blown save here, but did you see how dominant Chapman was in the 8th? I know he struggled earlier in the season, but he has been lights out for quite a bit now. I'm sick of this "Will Bednar blow another game?" feeling every time he comes in for a save opportunity. I know the season is all but over now, but just flip Bednar and Chapman. Let Bednar pitch the 8th so if/when he gives up a run(or 2) the Pirates at least have a chance to possibly get it back in the bottom. Then let Chapman close the door. Bednar was a great sliding catch in left away from giving away ANOTHER GAME. Your closer should not have an ERA over 5!!! Regardless, nice comeback win for the Bucs🫡✌️🏴‍☠️

From an art historical standpoint, I find it significant that the producers of these videos choose to show the umpires inspecting the hands of the starting pitchers. To the casual viewer these may seem like mere overflow images from the previous inning's highlights, but there is no reason these couldn't be cut out (the same way they don't show all the other players leaving the field) but for the fact that MLB wants to emphasize that they are enforcing this rule.
