the fact wario was willing to give his invitation to waluigi out of pity for his best bud only for waluigi to insist he keep it and gave him his helmet to go smash really hit me hard

There's something about Bowser showing up to deliver Peach's invitation that's really sweet. Didn't even have to kidnap her this time, he just flashed the envelopes like he had tickets to a concert.

The fact Wario was so sad Waluigi didn't get invited, and even offered him his invite. Then Waluigi just goes "No bro, it's your invite. Don't forget your bike helmet" just warms my heart

I LOVE the canonical tracking of Wario riding his bike off into the sunset only to immediately show up in Brawl's trailer right after.

Now every time I see the Brawl intro, I'll imagine Wario just got done leaving a sad waluigi behind

I love how outraged he gets when he sees Toad with an invite, I can almost hear him say “TOAD? SERIOUSLY? FRICKIN’ TOAD GETS IN BEFORE ME?”
