👉 Learn how to solve multi-step equations with variable on both sides of the equation. An equation is a statement stating that two values are equal. A multi-step equation is an equation which can be solved by applying multiple steps of operations to get to the solution.

To solve a multi-step equation, we first combine like terms by taking the variable terms to one side of the equality sign and the constant terms to the other side of the equation and evaluate them, then we can isolate the variable by multiplying both sides by the reciprocal of the coefficient of the variable.

Simplifying both sides of the equation, we get:-2k = 6k - 3Adding 2k to both sides, we get:0 = 8k - 3Adding 3 to both sides, we get:3 = 8kDividing both sides by 8, we get:k = 3/8Therefore, the solution to the equation is k = 3/8.

3 goes into 6 2 times. 5-8 is -3. The k becomes a 4x exponent so add that at the end. 2- a negative 3 is -1. Then add the exponents. It's -1kkk. That may offend some people but that's what I'm fucking seeing.
