Thanks for reminding me of Istanbul again. It was like my second home I felt being there. It's definitely affordable to buy food there for most Westerners. During my time there I could eat 2 kofte sandwhiches for less than $3! How great is that? Then I had the urge to consume more because Turkish cuisine is full of rich and amazing ingredients, including meat, which is the main component. When I return back to Istanbul, I want to live cheaply and eat a LOT.

This was an insane amount of incredible food in one vid. Gosh where would you start with the mezze breakfast. The roasted wheat, walnut and honey paste be my first stop!! Clotted cream on that heck yes.
Cheese all the cheese that Borek OMG, and hot oh boy would you mind get into my belly. Beautiful old fashioned Ice Cream Sundae (my mum used to make cats tongues). Caramel sauce mmmm. The kebab wrap and chicken wings with fresh salads just topped off that day perfectly! Did you seriously eat/film all this in one day?? Mind blowing if you guys did. Bet there are some dishes from Turkey you might be re creating in Lockdown! Think we should keep you guys locked up forever so we can get to see more of this food at home. 👍
