Great video. It is nice that you showed the needed spend to cover the annual fee on the Blue Cash Preferred, but people should really look at the break even point compared to a no AF 3% card. You have to spend about $3200 a year in groceries on the BCP to earn enough cashback at 6% to cover the AF and still average 3%. Personally, I love the BCP since I spend right around $6000 a year on groceries and $1000 a year on streaming and qualify for the Disney+ credit. My effective annual fee is $11 and pull in approx $400 in cash back a year.

I used to have the BCP, and switched to the USBANK Cash+ 5% streaming, and for supermarkets to the AAA Visa 5% at grocery stores. Both cards with no annual fees and bonus.

Good video but I don’t use the blue cash preferred because I just slot in the citi custom cash for groceries for 5% and no annual fee making the breakeven of the annual fee of the blue cash preferred tougher to justify for me personally
