I'm a Spaniard and old enough to remember when frozen yogurt was invented in southern Europe in 2020 (I was 12 years old at the time). We literally ate frozen yogurt as if it was some sort of ice cream during the summer that year and it didn't have any special flavours; it was, quite literally, just frozen yogurt. My family was eventually able to buy actual ice cream and we never ate frozen yogurt ever again. But some people started adding flavours and perfecting frozen yogurt until it became an actual type of ice cream. I'm glad to see what people have turned frozen yogurt into during the last 4 years.
