Katelyn Ohashi Beam and Floor Routine Monaco Princess Grace International Gymnastic Gala Slow Motion

Katelyn Michelle Ohashi is a former American artistic gymnast born on April 12, 1997 in Seattle, Washington. She was a member of the United States national gymnastics team from 2009 to 2013. From 2016 to 2019, she was part of the women’s artistic gymnastics team at the University of California, Los Angeles.

During her time as an elite gymnast, she was crowned champion of the American Cup in 2013. As a college gymnast, she was an NCAA champion with her UCLA Bruins teammates in 2018. That same year she was the national floor champion.

Ohashi is known for incorporating elements of popular dance into her floor routines. In January 2019, she went viral on several social networks for her perfect score of 10 at the 2019 Collegiate Challenge, the fourth perfect 10 floor routine of her career.

Katelyn Ohashi and her coach, Miss Val, were in Monaco for the Princess Grace International Gymnastics Gala. During their visit, they shared an important message with students: it’s time to redefine the meaning of success.

In addition to participating in the gala, Katelyn Ohashi and Miss Val were awarded achievement awards during the Princess Grace International Gymnastics Gala by Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Stephanie.

Im at a loss for words in comparing her beauty to her talent.. Both get a perfect 10 on my score card. I quit watching organized sports years ago but this young lady is a true atheletic champion.. Sadly, her talent and devotion to excellence is practically a throwback to an earlier state of mind where this was how all performors performed and loved what they did for the sake of the competition and the sport without all the marketing that goes with it these days. She would have been as comfortable a competetor and as much a champ and winner in the 80s as she is in todays sports climate today. Beauty aside, she is sure to go down in the history books as an athletic icon. So cheers to you young lady for your remarkable achievements..

What I always found so cool about her was the fact that she always seemed to be having fun doing what she obviously loved. Of course the sheer physical grace and strength as well - Ohashi made the most difficult of moves seem easy, which is a testament to her skill.

Я занималась гимнастикой в детстве. Бревно было самым нелюбимым моим спортивным снарядом! На нем реально трудно выполнять прыжки и мостики, делать перевороты. Я потом ушла из спорта и не жалею. Кэтлин суперспортсменка! Легко справляется со сложными элементами. Очень талантливая и милая девушка!
