I remember in an interview Katelyn talking about how she was shamed for her large thighs, but then went on to say that it was because of her legs that she had the power to accomplish what she has. This young lady is healthy physically, mentally and emotionally; so glad that she has found herself and shares in all the joy she gives those who watch her!

She's terrific and clearly loves to perform! I used to get shamed for my thighs when I was figure skating. They called me Froggy. I embraced it, wore green costumes and jumped higher than anybody. An injury put me out of the sport but it never got me down. I applaud this young lady

As someone who doesn't really watch gymnastics I can honestly say I could watch Katelyn all day. She brings such joy and choreography into the sport and just loves to perform. She brings the audience with her all the way. We are included and we love her for it. Just think she is lovely.

She's still lovely and awesome as ever... Even more so now that she's in a less abusive environment. It's written all over her performance every time her and her UCLA team performs. That's what being a gymnast is all about. They are not slaves of the USA to bully, molest and intimidate at your will and to win your medals. That UCLA coach has changed the game and the culture and really makes an emphasis on supporting the athletes and making them feel safe and really getting to love and enjoy the sport. There is no better example than this performance because you can see the joy in every movement. 😊
