What will the pandemic look like in 2022? | The Bottom Line

What started with one case in Wuhan in 2019 has led to five million deaths worldwide, with more than 800,000 in the United States alone.

And with a virus that mutates so quickly, no one knows when the COVID-19 pandemic will become as endemic as the seasonal flu.

In the meantime, "vaccine apartheid" means rich countries have abundant supplies of vaccines while most of the world has none - only prolonging the pandemic for everyone.

Host Steve Clemons talks to Dr Eric Topol, a scientist at Scripps Research, about the future of coexistence with COVID.

So this guy is saying we need more restrictions and more jabs, for a version of the virus that is less harmful.
He’s talking like this can double indefinably… once we’ve all caught it, then we’ll have herd immunity.
And he admits that first 2 jabs won’t work, so pushing the third one. ‘’The booster jab is so important…’’ for shareholder dividends.

The best way to stop all car accidents is to ban all cars… but we don’t do that.
This messaging is becoming a bit of a mess.

Omicron is a blessing in disguise. However once again every outlet is panicking and spreading fear! We shouldn't try to contain or mitigate Omicron. Let er rip and it'll displace Delta and be over much sooner! It's mild and a means to an end!!!
