I thought it was basically over too. But just 2 weeks ago I contracted it for the second time. Very very sick w it plus complications when I got it Dec 2021. This time it wasn't as severe and ended quicker. Still high fevers, sore throat, cough etc but milder than 1st infection. I was surprised to get it again. Nobody seems to have it anymore and haven't heard much about it. But it is apparently still around.
