lol great reaction - clearly know a ton already. The Faroes (Færøerne - The Sheep Isles) deserve more attention, they're stunning. In defence of the anti-depressant thingy - because of our long, dark winters Vitamin C is considered an anti-depressant here and is dished out to people throughout the winter - it's not *so* much that we're munching the happy pills just because they're free. lol that's precisely why we need to test the sirens - but it's a day everyone knows and is widely discussed. lol did like your reaction to that tho'.

'History with Hilbert' has done some good vids about the history of the Scandinavian nations that explain a lot about the reasons for the languages etc, suitable reaction material if so inclined.

Loved the reaction! On the siren thing, they're actually tested every day without the sound, but once a year at a specific time on a specific day they're tested with sound. And have been for decades, so everyone knows its not for real. They're placed in all areas where there are more than 1000 inhabitants and can therefore be heard by over 80% of the population. There are over a thousand of them all across the country. They're also used for more than just war, infact they've never been used for that purpose, they're mostly used in the event of, for example, fires that produce a large amount of poisonous smoke, because the siren means that you should go indoors, close all doors and windows, turn off ventilation and look at the news, where you will be informed about the reason for the siren. After the war I Ukraine started, the government has made a lot of effort to inform ukrainian refugees about the annual test of the sirens so they don't, as you say, get heartattacks. They''ve just come from a warzone after all.

I grew up in the city that B&O originated in and i swear every single year, at least one time, we had to go to the local museum nearby my school and look at all the old radios and tv furniture and it was honestly a good time

Great as always. But I still do not understand, why this myth/legend/false information regarding Icelandic. No Nordic inhabitants can understand the Icelandic language, based on either Danish, Norwegian, Finnish or Swedish background. Cheers from southern Italy.

Vi ved i forvejen at de alarms kommer. Det er en gang om året, den første onsdag i maj kl 12.00. Så ingen er bange for det.

Alas, the USA was able to buy the U.S. Virgin Islands from them, but not Greenland; had to settle for Thule Air Force Base.

I love the disgust about Denmark and other European nations creating trading posts in India while ignoring the fact that Indian empires/kingdoms have invaded and conquered territories and people outside the Indian subcontinet for centuries. For whatever reason there's a myth that Indian rulers have never attacked foreign kingdoms, which is a straight up lie. For example: The Maurya empire had control over moderd day Afganistan, Nepal and probably Iran, Bhutan and Sri Lanka; The Chola Dynasty have not only ventured into north-eastern India but olso went further to modern day Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, etc.; and lastly, the great conquerer Lalitaditya Muktapida, a very powerful ruler from Kashmir who had at one point a vast empire stretched from southern India to the borders of modern day Turkey, while defeating the Turks, Arab, as well as various Tibetan kingdoms. So yes, Indian rulers did venture out to conquer and rule, and they succeeded. There's nothing particularly strange with that contextually. The problem is the hypochrisy.
