Also Finland was never part of Soviet Union. Finland didn't exist until Finns declared independence from Russian Empire.

Some notes:

Norway didn't gift the mountain to Finland. If I recall correctly, Norwegian constitution defines the area and border of Norway and they didn't want to change the constitution.

It's usually not hot. The maximum temperature measured has been like +36 °C, and this summer we had some weeks at +30 °C. (Which is very hot for most Finns.)

Where I was born, the sun stays above the horizon for two months and stays below the horizon for one month. Yes, that place is much to north of the Arctic Circle. It usually gets to -40 °C a few times during the winter but it is not that cold all the time. Some of the recent winters have been mild for the area.

Finland's best friend is Sweden. Finland is Nordic, but not Scandinavian.

Just one fast answer to question about drivers license. There is 1st part which contain theory and many hours of driving and test with both in the end. Then you have to complete second phase within 2 years which contains night driving (if it was summer time and it was not dark during your 1st phase) and also that famous "slippery test". It is basically clean ice or "oiled" water (if summer) where you have to try to control vehicle that is caught in slide.

Finland is not Scandinavian country it’s Nordic country there is a difference. Nordic countries are Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

Scandinavian countries are Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Saying Finland is Scandinavian country is the same as saying Turkey is European country since they got a small amount of area in Europe :D

You are right about the driving school. It's very all encompassing. Biggest reason for that is that half the year the place is frozen, so you need to know how to handle a car on slippery surface as we can't salt/sand every single road

The south swedes might say Denmark though and the west Swedes might say Norway, but if we look to the political situation and history, Swedens closest friend is Finland. The Estonians closest friend is Finland. However, we do like ALL our neighbours unlike some other parts in Europe. Btw, I would like to travel to India some day. 🇮🇳 Btw I like the Indian flag and food. I am a vegetarian too. Love your channel. I've seen how much India has developed in recent years, so cool and good.

Yeah 1:22 officially, in the happy Nordic family of DEN FIN ICE NOR SWE the 3 monarchies DEN NOR SWE are called Scandinavia. But yes, you often hear "Scandinavia" used as a synonym for the whole Nordic region.

There is in winter some very cold time but its not very long time. When I say cold time I mean its about - 25°c~-32°c but it is like I say, its not long time and this is more north Finland "proplem" 😂
Normal cold tempurature winter time is about - 10°c~-25°c
