The sirens in Denmark is also used to warn of danger, it's mostly used if a fire is producing dangerous smoke, the nearest sirens are activated and people know to go indoors and seek information on what is happening.

That Finland thing was because even though it is close to the Nordic countries, its language is almost totally different. It is closer to Estonian or other Uralic languages.

well, if sirens are tested in Denmark, i would presume its tested everywhere else too. :D Its just about how often its tested with actual sound :D
