More people are leaving America. Turning their backs on their home country and you have to ask yourself why. America used to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. It is no longer free and to live there you need to be brave.

I just bought my one way plane ticket out of the U.S. On November 28th, I'm gone for good✌️.

I still don’t understand why thousands of mostly South America Countries are moving to the US to have the “American dream” when half of Americans cannot afford a good health care insurance to start with.

The US is not what it used to be. Americans are leaving because the American Dream is gone.
Almost everything is getting from bad to worse there. All kinds worrying and threatening situations on jobs, personal safety and life! 😢

As a Chinese American living in LA, I have to admit people are looking for alternatives. Its going to deteriorate very fast soon. People just dont know it

My favourite quip from Kirk, ‘the land of the brave, you have to be brave to live there.’ Its the icing on the cake!

You see the U.S pride itself in respecting and caring about their army veterans BUT yet over 60, 000 of them are homless and more are living under the poverty line (1 is 1 too many). Maybe the U.S should fix their own problems!

Everything you said is truth. Things are getting more and more unaffordable here in the US and inflation and crime is killing many small businesses.

Many many years ago, my father went to work in America for a while. He was unable to get a green card. And I'm glad he didn't get one because he might have stayed and I would have been born a US citizen.

I went Wuhan last week for 5 days. My friend drives us to different locations in the city. About 200 km's in 5 days. He told me that it just cost 25-30 rmb electricity. I'm so sad for people who lives in western countries... 😅

Yah. That's why I left the USA 20 years ago. I can only imagine what it must be like today. Living in Zhuhai, China and lovin' it!

Canadian retiree here. I could not afford to live in Canada any longer. I moved to Mexico. I live a humble, modest life down here, but can survive on the little I have. I chose to pay into a public healthcare plan here in Mexico, and while it is not "so called free" like in Canada, overall, I can live on just over $1, 000 USD a month (or $1, 400 CDN). That includes rent, food, medical and a little left over for enjoying life. In Canada, that amount of money could not even cover my rent.
Mexico is not for everyone, there are challenges for those that move here, but overall, for me anyway, it was the right choice. Better quality food with less chemicals and preservatives, no winter weather and a more relaxed culture have made it a good fit for me.

You can see poverty everywhere in USA. USA is not the same country that was 20 or 30 years ago. Yes, many American leaving for Mexico, Cietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and etc.

As an American citizen, I’m bewildered why people from other countries move here! I ask many immigrants, why would you come here and live in poverty and have to work 3 jobs? So far, I haven’t met anyone that came here, that likes living here. The country has deteriorated within the last 30 years: The endless wars we’re being taxed for, the widespread corruption, widespread violence and crime all over the country, infrastructure deterioration, younger people going into debt to get a 4 year college degree, widespread fentanyl and drug problems plus no one can really afford to buy a home these days. I think I’ll wind up taking it on the giddy~up too. Do me a favor, the last one that leaves, please turn out the lights! 😂
