Stormcloaks when you wear legion armor: "I'm going to give you one chance to take that off before I start swinging."

When you're in the imperial side and have to disguise in stormcloak courier to deliver a falsified message, you can keep your imperial armor. Then the stormcloak commander thinks you wear imperial clothes to pass through the enemy line easily, and tells you you are smart !

I remember wearing a stormcloak officers uniform as part of my true nord combat archer build....one of the imperial guard said -
You dare strut around here wearing that Stormcloak hide..

If you approach the Captain of the guard at Solitude, he’ll ask you if you’re with the Stormcloaks. If you say yes, he and the other guards will attack you.

The fact that imperial guards don't attack you on sight while you wear that stormcloack armour is pretty dumb imo

In the intro with Alduin burning down Helgen, if you go with Hadvar but then put on some armor from a dead stormcloak, he has a unique dialogue line he says as well. Haven't tested the opposite with Ralof but I'm guessing its the same thing.

That's why I like skyrim a bit more than new vegas in this parts, like you can't wear your badass power armor without making the NCR loose their fucking minds.

Hey at least they don't attack you for wearing their armour like the ordinators in morrowind then stay permanently hostile beacuse they think you killed one of them even though it was a reward for a quest.

They really should’ve made Stormcloak armor look different from normal guard armor

I remember one playthrough i sided Stormcloak just cause i wanted all the guards to look the same
