is it true that the av1 codec files are way way smaller than h265. files? I cant find the video where a streamer mentions a 1 hour gaming video would be about 2gb on h265 and only 300mb on av1!

Please help to understand what settings should be to have the best audio quality if I'm broadcastig from Mixer > Reaper on Mac > Dante Via > vMix on PC > YouTube
I used AAC 320 kbpts, but I'm not quite satisfied with the depths of the sound. It's noticable that sound is much better on my DAW than on Youtube ...

Great Updates. I am sending SRT stream using HEVC but not displaying at the destination. H264 is working fine though. What could be the problem? i am using the recommended Graphics cards at both ends

Why not add H265 instead of AV1, many devices do not support it

The industry reality is that H.264 is still king, followed by MPEG2 (yes, still MPEG2) Transport Stream. HEVC is slowly progressing and you're just introducing AV1?. The bandwith restrictions are on the location contribution side, not the distribution. This is a weird feature to prioritize.

I have no idea why they trash talked about the Intel ARC GPUs (However we probably would recommend sticking with NVidia... WHAT WHY???) . I think best AV1 GPU is Intel Arc. My Lenovo LOQ laptop with ARC 530M can instantiate 8 AV1 coders simultaneously while their huge Desktop with RTX4070TI just 2.
