What does everyone think, does this look like a Russian version of Aldi Supermarket? I think it does. Right down to the metal baskets with the weekly specials in them. Also the bakery section in the front. Also lots of great priced wine.

I'm a manager at a grocery store in the USA, so I find these videos fascinating.

Just watched a video from a farmer explaining about potatos, he said that unwashed ones are good for storageing, the washed ones will rott very fast but if you keep the dirt on you just have to keep the dark and reasonable cool for them to not go green.

This store is a LOT cleaner - and better stocked - than my local Aldi's. Better lighting too!
I can remember buying Alpine Gold when I was in Poland.
Personally, I prefer fresh, unsliced bread. A kilo of potatoes for 35 cents?! I would gladly wash them for that price!
Nice to see the leaves changing colors! It will be Christmas before you know it. 😀❤

Damn, I don't want to write anything, because the day before yesterday I was drunk and left a lot of unnecessary information and got a lot of negativity. I'm drunk again today. I've never been to Australia, but it seems to me that Russell really loves Russia. He has a beautiful Russian wife and let's all like him;)

Trying to compare salary in Russia and your country remember that two bedroom apoartments regular payments are about 100$ per month. Including electricity, internet, etc

Первый раз узнал о сети магазинов "Да!" от Рассела! Я в Москве и просто интересно смотреть на его перемещения по России. Он показывает реальную ситуацию в стране 100%!!!

I noticed that color schemes are a good indicator of the supermarket’s price range. Orange is upscale, but not most expensive, natural pastel colors like light brown, black-n-white, grey, and beige are upscale, greens and red are discount budget supermarkets, while yellow and blue (e.g., IKEA and Walmart) signify the gigantic choice and the size of the establishment.
This one indeed looks like Aldi. 👍

Guys, stop asking Russell about prices. Every typical shop in Russia has website to make online order. Just go there and check the prices by yourself.

Russian law prohibits monopoly. Any company with 25% trade volume for last year can't build or buy new shops.

Estuve 3 dias en Moscú en el año 1990, entonces sólo se veía escasez y necesidades. Hoy Rusia produce suficiente alimentos.

Always interesting to see how the different chains compare; layout, display prices.
