Do you goto a specific supermarket for items you cannot find anywhere else? Or do you simply shop for everything in the one place? Let me know.

I am Portuguese and I have always admired the Russian people for the excellence of their culture, courage and exemplary way of being in the face of adversity.
I am glad that once again they will show the "so-called Western world" that they will be capable of overcoming everything and everyone to achieve the peace and progress they have always fought for.
Blessings to the great Russia and its people!

Moscow looks fresh, clean and spiffy, unlike New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

I love your supermarket videos. I love food! And people are so cute, they just randomly walk by and wave at the camera.

Thanks a lot, Russell, for this long-awaited video! The supermarket's name is pronounced with a stress on the last syllable, which is not silent in this case. That is, it should be "bahetley". In Tatar, this word means "happy".

Always impressed with the selection and variety of products in the Russian stores. Good on them, making the most of such a 'difficult' food situation 😁

Very impressive. Clean, well organized, large selection, etc. I need to visit Moscow!

Belarus products, although technically "imported", are practically domestic to Russia. 😅

There's a better selection than in most of the stores that I go to in Italy! I can probably find most. But I would probably have to go to several stores to match this beautiful luxurious store!

The pastries in Bakhetle are really delicious. Especially the big pies. And ready meals are also very good. It's a pity that a few years ago they closed several stores in Moscow, there are none left near my house.

Real name of the shop is pronounsed "Bakhetele". From Tatar it translates like "Joy"

It is a supermarket net originating from Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan. Its title means "happy". Originally they specialised on handmade products or dishes. Later they added lots of other items to their assortment. My nephew studies at a university in Kazan. He told me about it. ❤❤❤

I can tell you about frozen vegetables and why there are so few of them. They are rarely bought there. They are mostly bought and they lie in the freezer for months when a person is too lazy to go to the store and buy something from vegetables (often they lie like that for years...). I have rarely seen any of my friends that I know cook anything from frozen vegetables when i lived in Russia, they often just buy fresh vegetables at the market. The culture of frozen, ready-made products is not very popular there. Basically, from frozen they often buy some (mini pizzas) and so on.

The funny thing is I would not even watch a supermarket video unless you Russel showing it. I don’t know but you fit so organically there so it is a pleasure to watch😊

In Nizhny Novgorod, there was such a store called BAHETLE, but alas, it could not stand the competition and left our market. This is a retail chain from Kazan.
