Thank you, after watching a bunch of videos on this subject you are the only one to come up with the answer to my problem.

I figured id add that when the choke is on it creates a vacuum throughout the whole carb and actually draws more gas and less air. It means your engine is no longer able to suck enough gas thtough the lines because of blockage. Check the fuel diaphrams in the carb! Great video thanks for the help!

The screw you're adjusting in this video is the high-speed jet. You can adjust it as you have shown, or a much more conventional method can be used, which is: 1. Start the engine, allow to warm to operating temp. 2. Pull throttle to high speed and hold, adjust the high-speed jet screw in/out to obtain the highest speed with as little vibration as possible. (That's it for the high-speed jet.)
In 99% of cases the low speed jet never needs tampering with, and improper setting can cause several other bad conditions. However, if you're ABSOLUTELY SURE you must change the low-speed jet setting, for most carburetors the jet is on the top of the carburetor covered by a polymer cap. Remove the cap, start the engine and allow to run at idle (about 3000 rpm), then SLOWLY adjust the low speed jet in/out until the smoothest operation is reached at the highest speed. Then reset the idle speed setting for running at about 3000 rpm. Re-install the polymer cap.
Either of these adjustments can easily be performed in 30 seconds or less.

Thanks for the video it helps me getting my weed eater back after being bogging in full throttle. When searching I only find video explaining engines with 2 adjusting screws, this the first I found explaining engines with just a single caprator adjusting screws. Now I get my engine back to work 😀😀 thanks...

Just did a stihl fc?110 bush cutter with these symptoms so l took the carb appart assuming blockage not enough fuel. Did that twice to make sure l put carb back correctly...( pot is legal in Canada).
Felt rather frustated, checked a few more UTube vids, l started to hear the words " plugged spark arrestor" over+ over, sure enough that was the bulk of the problem. My early inspection will now include a look at the spark arrestor screen...
Enjoyed your video! Nice job! Thanks Perry

Thanks for your helpful content. I followed your recommendations however they didn't work, only to discover 2 things:
1. The Choke on my engine was incorrectly labelled i.e. in reverse
2. The throttle cable was too short causing it to flood on restart
Thanks again and I hope that this may also help others.

Awesome video, fixed mine in less than 5 minutes. Mine does not have regular screw heads, just a round stub with a notch in it. I used a flat head to turn it using the notch
