This morning my pressure washer motor was locked up, and I found an EASY FIX, let me know if this free's up your small engine. How I unlocked this seized motor, explained in 90 seconds.

How to Unlock Seized Motor
0:18 Skip to the Fix

This was on my pressure washer motor, but I assume it can unlock a seized lawn mower motor, a stuck blower motor, seized weed eater engine, or any number of other seized small engines with the motor stuck in one place

I have had this harbor freight pressure washer for 3 years and its always ran great until that morning I went out and the motor was seized, THE PRESSURE WASHER IS STILL RUNNING GOOD TO THIS DAY.... for now.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a professional mechanic and am not sure as to any possible adverse affects of this method. But considering I was going to throw it out and get a new one, I'm just glad it worked.

If you have any expertise in this area or even better yet if you try this method for your stuck small engine, comment below and let us know if it worked for you.

Thanks for watching, hope it helps.

Thanks for making a Non-BS video on how to fix something. I think most of us come to youtube because we are currently screwed after a piece of equipment fails when we are working on some project. Don’t want to spend 23 minutes watching extra content, just to see the 3 minutes of useful info!!!

I don't usually comment but on this I must! I followed the short video, purchased the Mystery Oil, a new spark plug and foam air filter, added some Sea Foam to the gas and within an hour and less than $20 later, I had my similar to the video power washer with the same seize issues running great! It smoked for a while as the engine wanted to stop but it kept going on its own, the smoking stopped after a few minutes and your great advice saved me hundreds of dollars in NOT needing to purchase a new power washer. Many thanks!

Thank you for this YouTube post! My son and his friend flipped our Coleman 196cc gokart. Everyone was fine because they had helmets and safety belts on. But this post helped me to get the locked up start cord to pull. The spark plug had oil on it and I had to do few pills to get most of the oil out. Then used wd-40 to flush and pulled a few again before cleaning and replacing spark plug. It started again after 3-4 pulls and blue smoke for good 15 minutes but mostly good now. On to replacing a control arm. Thanks again.

Man this was the solution for my Honda GC160. Awesome job, saved me a bunch of potential headache with ripping the thing apart. Got it turning with the help of Marvel Mystery Oil and a breaker bar in case anyone else comes across this and can't get it to pull with the cord. Once it was turning I kept working it for a while and eventually put the rope pull mechanism back on, and it started. Thank you for the tip 👍

Man you save the day bother. My brand new pressure washer fell on its side in my trailer and I didn't know what was wrong and I took the spark plug out and oil came shooting out so I looked at your video and followed your instructions and change the oil twice and it worked! Thank you and Merry Christmas dude

Yes, this video helped me! So my Honda FG 110 mini tiller's pull cord was stuck like your's. I took the cord assembly out and when thus disconnected, there were no entanglements or kinks in the cord. Having ruled that out, per your suggestion, I went with your solution: Pulling out the spark plug and voila, the pull cord started working! Thank you!!

This video is 4 years old and still saving folks money! My pressure washer was surely ruined. I was saving up to buy a new one since this one had seized up. After finding this video and a quick trip to the hardware store for this Mystery Oil, I was back up and running in under an hour. Thanks, great video, great information, wish all of You tube was like this! Ifin your ever in Central Vermont, I owe ya beer.

great video. it helps me to solve the pull start jammed of my 2.5hp suzuki outboard. instead of using the oil, i used the air gun to blow into the spark plug hole
solved instantly

I ran over an extension cord with my snowblower that was buried in the snow. It wrapped up in the axle really tight. I finally got it all cut out and thought I could restart the blower but the pull cord was jammed. I was going to take it to the hardware store for them to fix but they were 3 weeks out on repairs. I saw your video and decided to try it. It worked!!! Such an easy fix. The blower did a lot of exhausting smoke to start with but then cleared out and has been running just fine ever since. You saved me a lot of time and money! Thanks!

Danny you are great. I had the same problem and I decided to give your method a try. Just like you said within five minutes I was able to get it to spin with my socket set. Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
Thank you very much
