+Dustin Kirkland, tried changing the kernel you provide to one compiled with RT options but got into trouble booting the board. Do you think it's possible to provide a walkthrough on how you created the image for the BBB?

So you want to do STUPIS things that Microsoft does, right? NO GUI?
These devices already run GUI, and some are running very well unlike sucker Raspberry pi which has NO HARDWARE ACCELERATION.
I will never use snappy even if i won't use GUI. And having a gui is not bad at all

The version of "ubuntu-device-flash" which I've installed via apt-get is completely different from yours. There is no --size flag for example. I'm using Ubuntu 14.04.

This looks great! Trying to decide on a pi or BB for my tinkering computer. Just as a small linux computer to program and hack about.

I'm pretty sure you mean a micro USB cable, not mini. Nothing uses mini (except some cameras).

Thx for this great video. I have a question that might be a little offtopic: Is there a way to get this cool pc specs/stats bar in my regular ubuntu terminal? It looks handy...

if you're using monitor with HDMI and have a problem about the screen not showing anything when booting snappy. do this:
you need to Mount the system-boot partition on your PC and edit config.txt and uncomment the (hdmi_safe=1).

+Dustin Kirkland, I can't communicate the board with webdm, I must connect a ethernet cross cable? . I only can asigne a ip address only with a router between the pc and then board.

Is it possible to install it in rapberry piB3?

I use different embedded systems and they all seem a little messy to install. If this is designed for the BeagleBone Black it should self install the embedded.OS. However, Snappy Ubuntu is a great system to use. Thank you.

Dustin, almost a year late but finally at the stage to begin looking at these technologies. Huge thanks for making this video. Enjoyed it immensely. Have you tried multiple snappy core devices via a single management interface? All the best.

So awesome. Today I bought an Odroid C1 board. Is the flashing procedure the same?
