I'm 17 right now. Here's what I've done:

Savings: Saved $2, 000 in 2 months. (Ive only been "saving" for two months)

Multiple Sources of Income: Two jobs and a HYSA. Roth next month. 401k next year

Not upgrading your lifestyle: Unfortunately I bought a nice-ish car and will be buying a motorcycle this spring. I will have to work on this

Growing liquid net worth: This has gone up every single month. My net worth has never gone down in my working life.

Maximizing and optimizing my finances: Becasue of my age there hasnt been much of this that i could do.


Overall i seem to be on a decent path. Between last year and this year I quadrupled my income. Between this year and next year I'm expected to quadruple again.

Yeah, I've always been saving a ton of money for most of my life. Since I don't live an exciting life, and most of the things I like to do are on the cheap end (besides traveling). As such, I'm a boring guy who can save over 60% of his income every year.

The bit immediately after the 30k millionaire, reminds me of when I bought a used BMW last year, and the salesman told me they see a surprising amount of repos. New doctors in the area get an expensive, high end BMW before their salary is really ready for it and can’t make the payments. That low key blew my mind.

Finally started tracking my net worth back in February--it's nice to have it at a glance and have the historical amounts readily available to see it grow instead of just eyeballing it based on the biggest contributions periodically. Rapidly paid off my student loans after getting my first real job 7.5 years ago and after that had a net worth of about $2, today it's around $300k. 😃

Full 6 months emergency fund.
220k in retirement
0 debt
Working 2 full time jobs and putting 80% of it into retirement 💪🏻 My goal is to hit 250k in investments this year and 500k by 30 and just let that money grow.
