I like the Wii U myself. It has some great games, an awesome Virtual Console, and backwards compatibility with the Wii! It was very well worth it for me

One feature that I liked but didn't use enough was that some games were also 3DS compatible and can be played on the Wii u with the 3DS; like super smash bros. That feature with both of those systems had a lot of potential

I think a very big reason you didnt mention is Nintendo taking down like every youtube video with any Nintendo games in them. They were actively discouraging people trying to tell about their games they love

Nintendo did the Wii U dirty it had great games and a great controller, they just didn’t know how to sell it

Wii U is a perfect example of how much more creative older things were, they packed a lot more features thanks to that. Having the second screen, TV remote, stylus and all that in your controller is amazing to me to this day.

I LOVE the wii U games. Mario maker, wind waker hd, Skylanders trapteam..
That not counting that you can play wii games (pokepark is my personal favorite)

Wii U was really an unfortunate console. Lots of mistakes and marketing blunders turned this into a very underrated and underappreciated console.

I’m 12 and used to have a Wii U. It broke due to a memory issue. After years of failure, I finally managed to emulate Wii U games on my PC. My favorite game right now is Super Smash Bros, specifically the Wii U version.

It seems like the Wii U commercials have at the very least shown that kids are not the only ones interested in Nintendo as some annoying people say sometimes.

The Wii U's PowerPC chip was interesting to me, Nintendo has been using IBM PowerPC CPUs since 2001. Something interesting about the Wii (and maybe the Wii U) is that you can run Mac OS 9 on it with minimal emulation
