I am born and raised in Chicago. Growing up I wanted to leave asap but now you can't pay me to leave. It turned into such a great metropolis! The best museums, world class restaurants of all lettuce points, beautiful parks and the people are friendly. SWEET HOME CHICAGO!

Sorry but, I stopped watching when it refer to Chicago as the windy city but did not state that it had nothing to do with the weather. Study your subject matter.

I lived there for 7yrs, sold my condo 2yrs ago and started traveling full time. Sometimes I miss Chicago, Lake Michigan, the food and all the activities down town. I don’t miss how expensive everything is, the bad attitudes, the crime, the politics or weather.

Chicago local here, it's clean and prestigious. You gotta be a specific type of person to live here, don't take shit don't give shit and you'll be fine. Better than homeless shelter LA and trafficy smelly New York

TBF most of the people I know that left Chicago. Was because of the weather, they told me winters were too long. They also told me the crime isn’t that bad, just stay out certain neighborhoods. Mind your business.

Excuse me but I was born and raised in Chicago. Cook County near Grand and Western Ave. It is not called the "WINDY" City because of the wind it really has to do with Politics within the City. Look it up you are misinformed about were the name comes from. "Reading is Fundamental".

I've lived in Chicago, NYC, Brooklyn, Raleigh, NC, Chapel Hill, NC and Connecticut. Always felt safest and most at home in Chicago.

This entire channel is nothing but negative information about cities and countries. Who’s watches this stuff? Who wants to be bummed out all the time? Chicago has its problem a bit the crime and violence is mostly confined to the far west and far south sides in areas most people would t even know how to get to. I was there a few weeks ago on the west and south sides and with nieces and nephews. We walked past midnight all weekend and weekend and had zero problems. It’s on in where you live, hang out, and how you mind your business. Chicago is a great city, more affordable than most major cities, loaded with great architecture, great people, great museums, great food, great culture. See for yourself! Don’t take these folks word for it…everything on this channel is negative fear-mongering. Again. See for yourself. Chicago is an underrated and unfairly demonized world class city!

The north shore is absolutely beautiful and safe. Funny how they only mention the bad areas to get views.

Do your homework. The "windy city" slogan had nothing to do with the wind.

It really applies to the hoods that are part of Chicago. Downtown and the Northside and near west and south sides are still pretty great
