Not only youve got to wait, they have been raising the price by 20% "due to inflation". Not many youtuber whom reviewing cars mention this.
Much better get any ICE only suv you will easily save 6-8k, use the leftover cash to buy petrol for the next 5yrs, by then fhere will be plenty of better efficient EV pr cheaper hybrid altrrnative

The answer to your question is of course no. Us Aussies have to be the most conservative car buyers in the world to be queuing up to buy these things. I'm not saying they are not good, maybe great, cars. But a Forester is much cheaper and will be nearly as reliable, standard with 4wd and will go further off road, if thats your thing. A CX5 will handle better, if thats your thing. If you must have a hybrid, well first of all sit down and do some maths, but there is the Havel H6 Hybrid - I've seen some good reviews and had a ride in an UBER and it was fine (apart from plastic seats). Then there are the far more stylish Koreans. So people - just stop bothering with these until Toyota gets it's wait times (and prices) under control.

12 Month wait? I visited the so called biggest dealer in the country and I had to wait 18 months. Toyota is a joke. I ended up buying an EV and OMG I'm so glad Toyota messed me around because pure EV's are way better than Hybrids. Who wants to bother fueling the car anymore, I just plug it in at home once a week and Im done, no more bs visits to the fuel station, no more yearly services, no no, its every 2 years and its $230, unlike every year $500 with Toyota. SCREW That.

These videos about those Rav 4 are strategic marketing for Toyota! So many videos bla.... bla about the same thing on that Rav 4 over & over again is mere brain washing people's mind to get them buy that Rav 4. The Haval H6, the CRV, the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, the MG, all these vehicles offer much more things/options way above that Rav 4 at better bargains. Only fools will wait to buy that Rav 4 which has lack of leg room at the back seat compared to the CRV. It was once upon a time, the time for the Rav 4 to conquer the heart of many out there! But now, it's other brands time. Rav 4! Go take some vacation!
