I know Andrea has passed, but for anyone reading this - another fabulous remedy is plantain . Andrea collected fresh plantain I remember. She also mentioned raw vs pasteurized honey. The study would have used pasteurized for infection risk reasons.

Honey is a must have in my home, I use it I my hair, in my face scrub, in my breakfast smoothies. It's a God sent.

Do you read fiction novels, Andrea....in your spare time? :-)
I was late to the party and just read all the big, fat "Outlander" books this past year. They are graphic....realistic. One of the parts I ended up just loving was the main character's (Claire) use of herbs and natural cures. She was a doctor in the 1940s but time-traveled back to the 1750s. The author really, really researched all the home cures she was forced to use. I actually learned some things I am using! (I also learned so much history!) IMO these are adult books. xoj
We use Solarcaine. But if I accidently time-traveled, I know to use honey!
