There was a time when tables at Garage Sales were so easy to get - not so much anymore. Very nice pickup. Now I want to hear Red Octopus (or Sunfighter)...

High viscosity damping fluid arrived and applied! Tone arm takes seconds to drop now and have a makeshift dustcover, Still need to get around to rebuilding the plinth, a winter project most likely.

If you still have this unit, it would be worth cleaning and relubricating the main centre bearing with appropriate turntable oil, if it's dry or the oil has thickened your speed accuracy is reduced through friction. If it's nearly four decades old it will need attention.

wonderful upload Trippin Gnome. I killed the thumbs up on your video. Continue to keep up the quality work.

Also replaced its old disintegrating rubber platter mat with a nice pro-ject cork mat.

Haha! I didn't know there was an app for turntable speed. Interesting. You should do a video on your main turntable and set up. How many turntables do you own? Do fix them up then sell them?
