I got stuck with no phone, a dead battery, and no wallet one time in the country while working a job. I used gas tools only but had a few battery operated drills in my trailer. I proceeded to break a radio apart for wire, connect my car battery to a 20v dewalt battery, and start my car after waiting 10 mins to charge. It was a truly great moment hearing that engine just barely turn fast enough to fire. Oh boy.

I can attest these work! My car battery drained down, and luckily a person nearby had one of these little units. It started my car!

Bought one of these, it’s been riding around in my dash for a year. Tonight, some lady on this giant Silverado needed a jump. Her voltage showed 10.3v, but the thing started it like it was nothing. Unreal.

Awesome videos and channel, Scotty! I've just purchased this unit and started my Audi A4 with a totally dead battery and with an 80% charge out of the box. With all the features and starting amps, I love it. I had no idea they made them this small and light. I tried some Walmart ones and they did not work on the same car. Then I found this video. Amazing! Thank you for a great review!

I have one of the big jumper kits and it died from it heating up because i left it in my car on a hot day, I have been looking into the little power packs but was always unsure of which to go for, so many to choose from. i have been watching your channel for few years now to learn about fixing the basics of my last 3 cars, you have been very helpful, thank you.

Thank you Scotty for being the coolest cat that I know on the internet. I always carry jumper cables everywhere I go since I drive an automatic. Helped lots of people who have needed a jump through the years. Would love to win a powerpack so I don't have to worry about damage to my car. Thanks for doing what you do. :)

I really enjoy your episodes. I was a mechanic for 30 years and I have to say, you really know your stuff. When I first started there was a senior mechanic much like you and I learned a lot from him and made my work so much easier. He really put pressure on me to figure our the problem and drove me nuts until I found it. He would say, you would not learn if I was to point to the problem, would you? I sure missed him when he retired.

The Stanley saved me. I am glad I had it. It also ran my sump pump when I lost power in a storm. Well worth the 100 bucks.

I'd probably go with something like the Autowit Supercap 2. It is a supercapacitor charger. You don't have to worry about it losing charge. It used the "dead" battery's power to jump start itself. A really cool guy named Scotty did a video on it a while back and strongly recommended it. :)
