LEGENDARY Cars found in Junkyard

I never thought I would find a junkyard like this! The Toyota Supra MK4 A80 is a rare JDM car, but to find a 2000's era spec build in the junkyard is crazy. Not to mention a handful of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII, IX, and Lancer Evo 10's. I also found my very first Nissan R35 GTR, Toyota Supra MK5, and Toyota MR2. I couldn't believe the condition of the late spec 1996 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo. Not to mention finding a newer Honda Civic Type R, it still smelled like a new car!

I guess I whiped my face with a greasey glove before I started filming lol

Which car are you saving?!

That TT deserved to be saved. Black/tan, TT, manual, last year for US. I think we'll start to see full restorations on 90s Japanese cars like we've seen on classics from the 60s, 70s.

The reason I think they all go at 120k is because people don't do the 120k maintenance cambelt water pump oil pan gasket oil tree gasket and the rest 😂. People that don't maintain there vehicles never keep them for long

The back of that Supra has the Top Secret GT300 kit on it, or at the very least a replica of that kit, pretty cool seeing that as the last time I saw that was when I played Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift on the PS2, that MR2 is also fire, SW20 is my favorite generation and if I ever get the chance to own one, it'd have to be in that teal

This place is 5 mins away from my house 😂 I get parts from here all the time. The guys that run this place are super cool!

16:23 that is a Passat W8. Yes, W not V! Look up the engine, the mechanics are super interesting behind it and it's *very* rare!

the motor mount is broken on that 10th gen because new cars are designed to shear off the motor mounts and fold the engine under the car in a severe accident, so you don't have the engine block pushing through the firewall and it lets your crumple zones do more work

Yeah, the top secret widebody kit on the Supra was insane! the oil cap was a TRD oil cap, and the strut tower bar is TRD also, hurts me to see them like that. Crazy that you got in there, absolutely legendary! Funny enough, I got my MKIV Supra Shell for $1000 about 7 years ago. You can NOT find them for that anymore, theyre like $12, 000 for a bare shell, a rolling shell is closer to $20, 000. I love these cars, but $45-55k from the factory and they're $100k now for high mileage and not super nice cars, times are insane.

I haven't made it through the video but if you don't get why stuff like these cars end up in yards I can give you a story about one. In the 80s a guy in my area had his dad give him a 1964 Malibu 2 door as a graduation present. He was then showing off for some girls and crashed the car bad enough that it was totaled (bent frame and mangled front clip but the main body was savable with a new frame). The kid sent the car to a junkyard and told them to crush it and told them they could not sell the car. A friend of mine bought the main body section as a "part" and not the car. I later fully restored a frame for him and put the body on the frame and threw a front clip on it thus turning it back into a car again. The kid who totaled wasn't happy but the yard followed his rules and they only sold "parts" before crushing what was left. My friend technically didn't buy a car 😂

should get dingdongdrift to 3d scan the foglight housings, so they can be reproduced by 3d printing if needed.
could honestly do the headlight housings too..

22:27 - Those RacingHart wheels on the Miata are factory, that is a Mazdaspeed ver. that came with a turbo. Mazdaspeed Protege of the same era also had a turbo and RacingHarts from the factory.

The sw20 mr2 looks amazing. Not my favorite mr2 either aw11 (80's) or spyder (2000's) for me. The 350z's are sick and i could really use parts of of any of them. I wonder if any of the z's had brembos on them. So many cool cars back there, and so many talking points

I’ve been watching you for a little while now and I just now learned why you love that teal color so much. I was just respecting your opinion, but now I understand.
