Disappointed? How God Wants You to Deal With Your Disappointments

The list of disappointments can very long and growing....
Others seems to have it all together, you are serving God, doing the best you can and it seems like nothing is going your way,
You are still unmarried even though you desire a spouse
You want to start a family but you are still barren even though others who not even want children get them
Your marriage failed, is failing or is very rocky
Your Ministry not going as plan—seem like you can get ahead
You may have loss your job which forced you to be doing something that you don’t like
Prayed, but you were overlooked for the promotion
Still waiting on your healing even though you fasted and prayed about him
You may have for a love one to live and they died anyway..
Pray that the hurricane didn’t come, yet it came and took all that you may have worked for or placed you an uncomfortable situation.
You have been praying and nothing is happening..
Ummmmm….Wow, what a list of disappointments ..
So where do you start?
God wants you to do these when you are disappointed:
Three things—
1. Pray more
Hebrews 10:36 NIV
[36] You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
2 Timothy 2:13 NIV
[13] if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
Romans 12:12 NIV
[12] Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
So I pain is too much—the disappointment is too grave, I can’t pray—read the Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to read alongside you.

Psalm 119
Psalm 119:25 NIV
[25] I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word.

[81] My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word.
1. Encouraged yourself in the Lord
Luke 6:23 NIV
[23] “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.
John 16:33 NIV
[33] “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

[5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
Psalm 94:18-19 NIV
[18] When I said, “My foot is slipping, ” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. [19] When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.

[4] 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
It’s extremely extremely important to let your disappointments drive you to do these thinned— which ever one works for —God will strengthen you—for when we don’t understand things—we console ourselves—God is still God—he still rules the heaven and the earth —and he is good. dead people don’t have the opportunity to disappointed and once there is life, there is HOPE

[23] ..Those who hope in me will not be disappointed. ”

[31] but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
