Maximize Clicks vs Maximize Conversions - Google Ads Smart Bidding Strategies Comparison

In this video, I discuss two smart bidding strategies - Maximize Clicks and Maximize Conversions. They sound similar but they are VERY different. One of them is a great bid strategy to use for brand new campaigns and I'll explain which it is in the video.

Hi Ryan. If I have never run ads before, should I start with Maximize Click to get the traffic first, convert, then later switch to Maximize Conversion? I run a private chef business. I have two campaigns, one smart and one search. Both have a $20 daily budget. Hello ryan I am running a low budget google ads, my budget is $5 per day, few weeks ago my strategy was on maximize click and I get a lot of click and the cost per click is not that expensive and one week ago I change it to maximize conversion and now it started to get click only once and it cost more than my daily budget and I don’t get any call like last time when I did maximize click, the question is should I move back to maximize click again? Hey Ryan, I'm a small business owner and trying to learn Google Ads myself. Thanks for a great vid btw. It sounded (correct me if I'm wrong)that if you have a low daily budget, maximize click is the better option. However, are you not concerned about people clicking randomly? With conversions, you can at least set a landing page to ensure that you gather info or make a sale.. Let me know what you think. Thanks so much!

Do you create a new campaign when using Maximize Conversion or do you just switch the strategy from Maximize Clicks to Maximize Conversions?
