I too own both Samsung and Apple, and I recommend the same to any smartphone geek. Buy both to actually see the differences and all yourself. Plus, you have a backup phone, may your daily driver be whichever of the two.

Good video. Couple of other reasons:
1. If you use a MacBook of any kind as your primary laptop, the integration makes an iPhone incredible. In fact that’s the reason I switched from the Note to the iPhone. Messages reliably arrive on your laptop, you can pick up calls on the iPhone, all your photos are synced. In short, you don’t have to take the phone out of your pocket or holster most of the day at work.
2. iMessage. I know, I used to be very skeptical of folks who said this is a reason. After all it’s just an SMS and MMS product right? No. It’s far better than anything Google or Google OEMs offer. Between integration with games like GamePigeon, that allow you to play games with friends one move at a time, to sending someone a “pin” of your current location, and if they have an iPhone, they can find you by longitude/latitude to the foot to so many other great enhancements they have of regular messaging that can allow for much more expression.

3. Apps are honestly a bit better and updated more quickly simply for volume reasons.
