we do understand it's lovely to be a mother a wife to have a loving family bt being independent not to show off to male btt to provide for our parents make thm proud too so tht tomorrow some male don't come n dominant us cuz we don't earn so tht we don't have to beg for money n ask anyone for money whn needed

There's no way I or the couples I know could live the life that we do without a double income. Financial independence (or dependence if you're married) is not commonplace, esp in SoCal. Both people in a relationship needs to work to cover everything. It's very expensive to live here.

I never wanted to have kids and I used to be really depressed and then I had my boy as a surprise and I found purpose in my life and I healed because my boy gave me the motivation to do better and I’ve never felt so much love and gratitude

i do agree with this but i have been raised in a way that my parents want me to get a good job so yes i will definitely work hard at least till i get kids, i will figure out something when i do get kids thought i srsly want kids

While I hate the whole anti men part of the feminism movement today, I don’t think you fail to realise how expensive living costs have become. Also, I don’t believe in a woman being completely dependent on a man. Also a lot of people do enjoy having a career and a family, if you’re smart you can have both for sure! Lastly, you yourself are a single woman with a successful career who is pursuing something that you’re interested in without having a family or a husband.
