Im having a crisis, Mia. When I was a kid I thought you could only use cake mixes that came with the easy bake oven!!!! If I wouldve known I could have used my own cake mix as a child I think I would have a bakery empire by now.

When you’re stacking layers, I would recommend using something to support them like a straw, wooden dowel, or in this case a toothpick. That way it is more stable. Also this cake turned out SO cute I love it. And I would love to see a mini dog cake :)

I used to be too impatient because it was literally a lightbulb heating up the cake mix so I would end up leaving it for like 3 min and then basically eat give up and eat it raw lol

Desperate for you to tweak your boxed cakes!
I always add 1-2 extra eggs.
Milk instead of water.
And butter instead of oil, but double the amount they ask for. (Ex: 1/2 oil = 1 cup butter.)

Those things will legit make your cake moist and decadent, it tastes like a legit bakeries cake. I make all my sons birthday cakes everyone always loves it and have no idea that I made it. I also love to decorate them! 😅

Also think about adding your own flavors to white cake box, and then adding a fresh fruit filling in between your layers! 🤤

there is actually a difference in measuring cups! there are liquid and dry measuring cups and they do make a difference in baking!
