Being in logistics myself for over 25 years and a Amazon Prime shopper for over 15 years and regionally located where I'm at worst 2 day shipping but most of the time one day... I have it down to know approximately what time of day my last Mile delivery time will be. What's truly amazing is how i can order one item for next day then realize crap I need this to go with it items order it within the last hour will piggyback picking so they arrive together the next day.

When Amazon made agreements with FEDEX and USPS we stopped getting our packages. I called them and explained the problem and they said that they would correct it.The very next order didn’t make it and we cancelled our Prime Account and We buy locally and if not available buy off eBay.

You did not add the little fact about the algorithm checking up on the private fulfillment sales and making sure that if your product is "hot" it is certainly scheduled for an undercut by Amazon itself. Only niche products or products that cannot compete are allowed to stay on fulfillment process for long. Also there is no "modest" fee with Amazon - for items under $20 you better manage to get them for less then half of the price they are selling for to even break even.

Up my package came up missing when they Arrive in Buffalo Ny I am petty sure the USPS might help themselves. I have been there delivering mail they are jerks. But Amazon sent me this Your package may be lost.
