People say Laurie didn’t deserve Amy, but you can love multiple in your lifetime. Laurie loved Jo, but she didn’t love him back. He matured, he got over her, and he fell in love with Amy. She wasn’t a second choice or a rebound. She became the love of his life so he married her, no ulterior motives.

It amazes me when you see actual real emotion from an actor who is just playing a character. When you forget you’re watching a movie because the actor(s) are THAT good it isn’t a movie anymore…it becomes a masterpiece

I swear, I was just watching this movie for Emma Watson and Meryl Streep. I didn’t even know who Saorise and Timothee was until this scene came up and I fell in love with Laurie. The end of the movie was when I really adored Jo.

This is truly heart-wrenching... Jo couldn't love Laurie the way he wanted her to. She had the kind of love for him which was perhaps love in its purest form. Laurie was too young to understand that but later he realised it. Amy was better suited for the kind of love he was looking for.
