The Impact of Arthritis on Moms

People living with arthritis have difficulties with everyday activities including caring for their children. Dr. Catherine Backman, Research Scientist with the Arthritis Research Centre of Canada, studied the impact of arthritis on moms including fatigue, financial challenges and the lack of appropriate services. She found that despite these difficulties they experienced the same joy and satisfaction as mothers who don't have arthritis.
