it looks like the workman is using a rotary cutting tool to break the seal between the window and the frame - what is this tool called and where does one purchase - i tried removing my window and it cracked by just using a knife - thank you for he video

You might want to change the title to "How to REPLACE Foggy Double-Paned Windows"; I didn't see any "re-sealing" of the old panes in the video.

I have owned at least 5 new homes (not track style) over the last 40 years all with the double pane windows all failed within 5 years so the energy cost saving over a single pane is nill and don't tell me technology is better now, new home built (custom ) and again 5 years down the road failed windows..they are a money maker for Glass shops for sure, this time around will replace all with single pane glass

nowhere among these double hung window video ads, does the reason for the seal failure appear, , one short easy step in the plant is always omitted, glass which they usually buy from some other glass maker requires a water & pumice dusting to make the adhesive stick and last the years they advertise, use of pumice is an old trade trick, warm water, clean cotton rags, a wet wipe with pumice to remove the plastic grit that keeps sheets of glass from breaking during shipping, makers usually have guys using blue windex type glass cleaner in the assembly stage, the blue stuff ain't enough, the ear tells you when the glass is squeaky clean, the window squeaks under the polish rag, , eee eee
