Moisture, condensation or fog between insulated glass windows, double or triple pane, indicates that the seal on the window's glass has failed.

Most modern windows are double or even triple pane glass. The glass panes are sealed and sandwiched between a metal spacer that contains silicon desiccant. It is called a Insulated Glass Unit (IGU). Over time the sealant begins to leak and moisture begins to collect between the panes. When the silicone desiccant can't absorb the moisture, then fog/condensation can develop on the inside of the glass. Eventually, the inside of the IGU will become etched.

Some companies drill a hole in the glass, squirt a cleaner between the widow panes, dry it out and then plug the hole in the glass. I didn't consider process a repair. If the seal is leaking, then it will continue to leak, allowing moisture between the panes. It's just a band aid... IMHO.

Use a flexible spackle/puddy knife, I use about a 3" type along with a can of window cleaner called "spray away". I use spray away on the puddy knife for a lubricant and press against the silicone and rock the blade side to side as it plunges and you hear it hit the frame, then move along the whole perimeter

Hmm. I enjoy watching your videos. Yet this one seems a bit bleak: “a thing failed, and wow, the new replacement they make isn’t as good as the original.” That’s a sad reality.
