This looks very interesting. Unfortunately I had two issues which made viewing difficult for me. One was the colour of the yarn on the dark wood background which I found hard to see. Secondly, the procedure went off screen so I found it hard to follow. Thank you for the video. Always good to see new procedures.

This was extremely helpful. I see you own that same sock knitting book that I just bought. I couldn't understand a word of this toe method because I barely know how to knit, and being self taught, I don't use the same terminology. I understand crochet fairly well though, so your method of doing this toe makes complete sense to me. If you ever get a chance....and I get it, I have kids too, BUT, if you ever do, I'd love to see more videos on making socks. It's so mysterious to me, knitting the the round with all of these needles. Thanks!

In Russia, crochet and knitting is considered one skill. Beautifully executed. And for any who find that the phone rings in the middle of what you are doing, you don't lose your stitches. I'll have to try that.

Hi Carolynn, thank you for the awesome video. I have a question. So I am doing a Toe Up sock that is 56 stitches total. My pattern says cast on 12 stitches or I can cast on 16 stitches for a wider toe. So should I cast on 12 or 16 Total? I know half of 56 is 28 so I am confused! Thank you.
