"He ate raw meat and masturbated in public." Ok, that's gross. But you've got to give credit to a thinker who puts his convictions fully into practice. Although I find myself wondering how significant anti-conformists like the Cynics would be without society to serve as their foil. If criticizing society is the whole thrust of your philosophy, then aren't you still in some sense dependent on that society, still a part of it?
