I think the best way now is to remote connect to a PC via the Xbox app, then using a good mic and headphone setup to talk and listen through the streamed Xbox gameplay on the computer. It strangely works with xbox party chat, discord chat, and game chat. Any mic, any pair of headphones, and no noticeable delay in the game audio.

Where do I plug in the power cord to my mic? Do I just plug it onto the xbox in the port it fits in? The port does turn on the mic but idk if it'll allow sound. I did all the other steps u said tho.

I have this exact same setup including the Rode USB mini and it works but has a buzzing noise and don’t know how to fix it

is the turtle beach connector a must?? if you've got an aux port on the controller? couldn't the splitter just plug straight to the controller....

If ur using obs just plug in ur mic an a wierless headphones to ur pc like normal, then just connect ur console with a capture card. In obs set up a mic desktop audio source an the capture card audio source.... then in obs just turn on monitor an output .... should have sound in ur headphones without the headace of all the wires :)

So what do I do if my stand up mic has a usb also underneath where my splitter gets plugged in so I plug that usb into a outlet or my Xbox so it receives power

But they changed you cant plug third party accessories in the xbox willl this work for any usb mic after they added third party accessories
