This tutorial show you how to do it with Package Manager and the Asset Store and even importing Custom Packages. I also show you how to load simple asset files from Filesystem or just drag and drop from your PC files to the engine. As a bonus I will show how to export a custom Package.

As someone who has been using /building computers for content creation /vfx for decades, and is new to using Blender, Unity and Unreal, it seems to me there is a fundamental problem to these programs if there needs to be a tutorial on how to bring in assets. The process is unintuitive, convoluted and overly complex with confusing and inconsistent vocabulary. This is a systemic problem with "professional" software, almost like they intentionally make processes as opaque and obtuse as possible to justify their price and complexity.

That said, thank you for this tutorial, it helped to make the process less onerous.

Is there a way to import game assets from say Cyberpunk into unity? I want to use assets from a game to make a game world for VRchat. I was considering importing them into blender and then building a base around it then importing it to unity to texture it :)
