I just love the Olympics because it really shows how diverse and amazing humans really are. Olympians are at their peak fitness levels and they’re older, have disabilities or pregnant and can still participate with the type of their sports. It just goes to show that the way your body looks doesn’t matter for someone to be successful and healthy.

The Turkish pistol shooter is an icon and really impressive, but the picture you showed for comparison was of a rifle shooter. Sorry to be pedantic, but rifle uses much more gear than pistol because it is heavier and you have different positions, so you can’t really compare the shooters in each because what they are doing is pretty different. Even in the standing position they both do, pistol shooters hold the gun and pull trigger with the same hand, while rifle shooters rest the gun on one hand while pulling the trigger with the other and wear full canvas suits for more stability.

Flava flav is actually the sponsor for the womens water polo team! He saw that they struggled to make money as pro athletes and thought that that was unacceptable SO HE BACKED THEM WELL ENOUGH FINANCIALLY THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE TO WORK OTHER JOBS! Incredible

no.11 : the turkish shooter and the other shooter you showed are in completely different events with different guns and different gear. the event that the turkish shooter partakes in doesn’t require heavy gear that IS required in the other shooting category.
