Just bought my first ti-84. I have to say this solver is crappy compared to the hp’s and casio’s. It acctually can’t display both solutions from an second degree?

Just a tip folks, you can use the X symbol for another other letter other then the X on the TI-84 Plus CE.

Why would they make the graph button the solve button fml

I get the wrong answer here with my TI-84 Plus CE-T
-2(5c – 10) + 16 = 4(2 + c)
Answer should be c=2 but it the calculator gives the wrong answer. I checked my inputs 4 times and I filled in everything correctly.
When I use c it says c=0 when I use x instead of c it says x=-0.3030303

I’m sorry what? You’ll press graph again and it’ll tell you x=1/3 then quit. I got e1-e2=0 no x value!

your explanation is fair, but, your fingers click around way too fast, and it's impossible to see what keys you are choosing...show the entire keyboard, and, keep your hand out of the way!!!
