I've been fasting for the last seven years. Waiting 15-16 hours between meals is very easy. As a woman it has been shown to reset the hormones which prevents cancer cell growth.

I grew up to 5’7 maybe 5’8 on a good day. But it’s okay I will make sure my kids grow tall enough to reach the sky . Physically emotionally and spiritually

We can't be sure about the growth plates closing. It may simply not be true. There are recent studies saying this I am still yet to read. But an example, our bones are made to grow, if we break our leg our bones grow back over time to fix itself at whatever age so it is possible for our bones to grow at an older age. There is so much more to learn about this most important topic.

I've learned a lot about this now that I have 2 tiny daughters. In the past, i enjoyed intermittent fasting but was told in acupuncture school that it was terrible. Now i see my toddlers do it naturally, especially in the summertime. The are gigantic compared to myself at their age. Sometimes i feel like i "should" be making my kids eat more often, but that's just a modern societal norm. And then they become hungry and eat the whole kitchen. TLDR; kids eat like snakes and it's totally natural and fine.

I'm 6'8 at 17, never was a big eater mostly ate only one meal through my teenage years and I gained a supposedly bad habit of eating at night and drinking a lot of milk, yes I was always tall but my brother is 6'4 so it seems like my behavior boosted it.

This is great information! I was aware of the weight loss and Autophagy benefits of the process, but not of the Growth Hormone increase. I'm currently doing intermittent fasting 18-6 for over 2 months now and the benefits have been incredible. The detoxification benefits are definitely worth it. I am 34. in june I did an extended fast (mostrly dry) and noticed I grew 3cm~ I thought it was cuz of the posture due to the weight loss ♥️ thanks

Man I love being a Muslim. Been fasting since my teenage days. The Sunnah fasting every 2 days of the week + obligatory 1 month of fasting before Eid. Dwarf most of my friends in height even though my parents are shorter than theirs.

I wouldn't recommend it for kids in puberty especially just to get taller. The hormone that makes you feel hungry is ghrelin which also causes growth hormone to be released, and kids produce WAY more growth hormone in response to ghrelin than adults, so kids in puberty should probably just eat when they feel hungry. Fasting is fantastic for adults who have some extra padding, have inflammatory stuff going on and have lost growth hormone due to age.

Dinka Tribe is the only tribe largely only consuming meat and dairy. And it isn't mentioned whether they fasted or not.

Gaba and relaxation also plays a big role. So relaxed, well fed and active (playing outside in the sun all day = no time for eating) childhood mean tall stature.

GH makes you schlong beefier as well

I'm a type 2 diabetic and my doc actually suggested IF. I've been really bad about eating too much recently, but when I did IF my blood sugar was very stable.

I used to be a police officer in the UK and used to fast super regularly and felt great for it. I got disciplined and a mark against my name. I tried to explain to them that I felt much better and worked better while fasting but they didn't care as it wasn't for a religious reason. 🤣 Needless to say I'm not a cop any more the set of morons.

Growing up skinny, I got taller (183.5cm) than my dad (177cm) and most of my male relatives. I would say that optimizing hormones by fasting is a good thing but not the "trick" you're looking for. It's drinking milk, as raw as possible. Look up the countries who consumes the most milk per capita and countries with the highest average height. You will not be surprised lol

I recommend drinking lots of water to stop hunger sensation for fasting+walking, sport which stops huge apetite, hunger
